The Digital Production Symposium (DigiPro 2015) promotes the sharing of ideas, insights and techniques for the production of top quality digital visual effects and animation. DigiPro brings together scientists, engineers, artists and producers in a tight-knit environment, working to close the gap between research results and industry needs.
We invite submissions on any topic with impact on digital film production. Topics of interest include the traditional academic areas (such as rendering, simulation, and animation) as well as less-published production topics (such as stereo, pipelines, production management, and the artist-engineer partnership). Submissions may range from theory and algorithms, to engineering decisions, workarounds, and rules of thumb. To see what kinds of papers were included in previous years, you can browse the programs:

Submitted papers will be reviewed by an international program committee, and accepted papers will be both presented at the symposium and published in the ACM Digital Library.
Submitted papers may either be in standard technical paper format (SIGGRAPH-like, double-column, usually 2-8 pages), or in the form of a short production talk that explains a technique or a lesson learned. Talks may be submitted as a slide deck, a video with voice-over, or an extended abstract, so long as it conveys the content, style, and value of the talk. Submissions must be in PDF for printed material or slides, and standard formats for video (Quicktime, MPEG, AVI).
The conference presentation is usually 25 minutes, including questions, though at the committee’s discretion, shorter or longer duration may be allocated to suit the needs of a particular presentation. The length of either paper or presentation should be commensurate with the amount of valuable information -- a 2 page paper or a 5 minute talk is appropriate for some topics, whereas an 8 page paper or 20 minute talk may be appropriate for a more comprehensive treatment of a bigger topic.
What have you discovered that our community ought to know? Tell us, at DigiPro 2015.
DigiPro 2015 will be held in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 8, 2015 (the day immediately preceding SIGGRAPH 2015).
How to submit your Work?
You need an EasyChair account to log in. If you already have used EasyChair system for other conferences, you may log in with the existing account. If this is the first time using EasyChair, please sign up with a new user name and continue.
EasyChair will let you upload your abstract or paper, but is unable to accommodate large files such as explanatory videos, software, or data sets. If you have additional materials to submit, please email chairs@digiproconf.org to request an invitation to a DropBox folder where you may deposit the materials. Nobody will have access to it but the chairs and the program committee members who are assigned to review your submission. The materials will be deleted when reviews are completed.
